Built from the local “singing rock,” Canto del Sol’s spacious & solid structure Makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive

Canto del Sol is a custom-built, off-grid sanctuary designed for deep rest, traditional and modern ceremonies, and reconnection with friends, family & self.

The architecture is elegant and intentional, anchored by a two-story palapa-ceilinged temple space at the center of the home.

There are three spacious bedrooms — one with a private ensuite, and two connected by a shared jack-and-jill bath. (By 2026, all rooms will be ensuite.) Ceiling and floor fans in every room invite the Caribbean breeze, and natural light moves freely through the east-facing layout.

The fully equipped kitchen and indoor dining area are complemented by generous outdoor lounges surrounding a large pool filled with healing, mineral rich cenote-fed water.

The villa rests on 2.4 acres of carefully stewarded land—partially cleared to allow for spaciousness, yet mostly preserved to remain in relationship with the monkeys, butterflies, and tropical and migratory birds that live here undisturbed.

Every detail, from the building orientation to the altars honoring the aluxes (Mayan elemental guardians), supports this site’s resonance as a healing portal. Ceremonies are held sparingly—no more than once a month—to maintain clarity and allow the space to regenerate fully between these specific gatherings.

This is not a retreat center in the traditional sense. It is a finely held energetic container that offers a safe space for expansion and restoration to those who enter with intention.

Whether for a private stay, or a full retreat, this land invites connection, clarity, renews your energy, and meets each guest where they are.
